Reporting an Issue
Every QR code created in The Compliance Register doubles as a quick way for anyone – a tenant, a visitor, a member of staff – to report a problem, with no account or app needed. Here’s how it works, from the scan to the landlord’s reply.
1. Scan the QR Code
A QR code poster is mounted on-site, for example just inside a communal toilet.
Scanning it with a phone camera opens the location page for that spot, showing its recent cleaning history and quick actions.

2. Report the Problem
Tapping Report a Problem opens a short form – just a name, an email address and a description of the issue.
No login is required, and once submitted the report is sent immediately.
3. The Landlord Is Notified
The message is routed straight to whoever manages that location and appears in their Problems Reported list, along with the reporter’s name, email, the location, and the date and time.

4. Reading & Replying to the Report
An email notification is also sent, with a link to read the full message and reply.
Because the reporter’s email address is captured with the report, the landlord can reply directly – the reply goes straight back to the person who reported the issue by email, so they’re kept in the loop without needing to create an account or log back in to check anything.
